How To Be Saved

How To Be Saved Many people wonder how they can be saved from the consequences of their sins and have eternal life. The Bible teaches that salvation is a gift from God that cannot be earned by human efforts or merits. Salvation is based on God's grace and mercy, which He offers to anyone who believes in His Son, Jesus Christ, as their Lord and Savior. Jesus Christ died on the cross for the sins of the world and rose again from the dead, proving His power over sin and death. Anyone who confesses their sins, repents of their wrongdoings, and trusts in Jesus Christ as their only way to God will be saved. Salvation is not a one-time event, but a lifelong relationship with God that involves obedience, growth, and service. To be saved, one must follow the steps below: 1. Recognize that you are a sinner and that you need God's forgiveness. Romans 3:23 says, "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." 2. Acknowledge that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who died for your sins and rose again from the dead. John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." 3. Repent of your sins and turn away from your old way of living. Acts 3:19 says, "Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord." 4. Receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior by faith. Romans 10:9 says, "If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." 5. Confess your faith in Jesus Christ publicly and join a local church where you can grow in your knowledge and love of God. Matthew 10:32 says, "Whoever acknowledges me before others, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven."

Launch a bold attack on Iran's entire oil industry! It is potentially harmful and irresponsible to advocate for such a violent and reckless action. The consequences of such an attack could be catastrophic for the world’s economy and could lead to a global recession. The oil industry is a critical component of the global economy, and any disruption to its operations could have far-reaching effects on the prices of goods and services, as well as on the livelihoods of millions of people around the world. Instead, let’s focus on peaceful and constructive ways to address the issues at hand. Violence only begets more violence, and we must work together to find solutions that benefit everyone involved.

Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) proposed one method by which the Palestinians would be stopped instantly is madness. What do they need to be stopped from? Trying to survive the genocide Israel is inflicting on them?

The phrase "three score years and ten" is a biblical reference to the average human lifespan of 70 years. It is often used in literature, poetry, and speeches to evoke a sense of mortality and the transience of life. However, in the modern world, where life expectancy has increased significantly due to advances in medicine, technology, and social welfare, this phrase may not accurately reflect the reality of many people. Moreover, it may imply a passive acceptance of one's fate, rather than an active pursuit of one's goals and dreams. Therefore, some alternative ways to express the idea of a human lifespan are:

- Seven decades

- The cycle of seventy seasons

- The journey of seventy sunrises

- The duration of seven hundred moons

- The passage of seventy winters

You have reached a remarkable age of more than seven decades. I believe you are currently 77 years old if I am not mistaken. This is a very impressive achievement and I congratulate you on your longevity and vitality. According to the Lord, you’re on borrowed time.

The Bible gives us some clues about how long a human life should be, based on the examples of the patriarchs and the promises of God. In Genesis 6:3, God says that his Spirit will not strive with man forever and that his days shall be 120 years. This seems to set an upper limit for the lifespan of a person after the Flood. However, some of the early post-Flood patriarchs lived longer than that, such as Shem (600 years), Arphaxad (438 years), and Abraham (175 years). This suggests that the effects of the Flood and the environmental changes it caused were gradual and not immediate. Some scholars also think that the 120 years in Genesis 6:3 refer to the time left before the Flood, not to the lifespan of a person.

The Psalmist writes that "The days of our lives are seventy years; And if because of strength they are eighty years, Yet their boast is only labor and sorrow; For it is soon cut off, and we fly away." (Psalm 90:10). This seems to reflect a more realistic expectation for the average lifespan of a person in ancient times, especially under harsh conditions. However, this is not a fixed rule or a divine decree, but rather an observation and a generalization. There are many exceptions to this, both in the Bible and in history. Some people live much longer than 80 years, while others die much younger. God is sovereign over our lives and knows the number of our days (Psalm 139:16).

The New Testament does not give us a specific number for how long a human life should be, but it does tell us that our lives are like a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away (James 4:14). It also tells us that we should not worry about tomorrow, but seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33-34). It also tells us that we should live given eternity, not given this present world (2 Corinthians 4:18). Our lives are not our own, but belong to God who bought us with a price (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Therefore, we should glorify him with our bodies and our spirits, which are his (1 Corinthians 6:20). In conclusion, according to the biblical period of a lifetime, we are on borrowed time. We do not know how long we will live, or when we will die. We should not presume on God's grace or take his mercy for granted. We should live each day as if it were our last, and be ready to meet our Maker at any moment. We should also use our time wisely and invest it in things that have eternal value, not in things that will perish with this world. We should remember that our lives are a gift from God and that he has a purpose and a plan for each one of us.

Your time is up. You will die shortly and when you do you will have to answer for every word of hate and malice you uttered against the Palestinians, an entire nation of people. In the meantime, I see you as someone with a specific agenda that will never be fulfilled.

Blessings
