How To Be Saved Many people wonder how they can be saved from the consequences of their sins and have eternal life. The Bible teaches that salvation is a gift from God that cannot be earned by human efforts or merits. Salvation is based on God's grace and mercy, which He offers to anyone who believes in His Son, Jesus Christ, as their Lord and Savior. Jesus Christ died on the cross for the sins of the world and rose again from the dead, proving His power over sin and death. Anyone who confesses their sins, repents of their wrongdoings, and trusts in Jesus Christ as their only way to God will be saved. Salvation is not a one-time event, but a lifelong relationship with God that involves obedience, growth, and service. To be saved, one must follow the steps below: 1. Recognize that you are a sinner and that you need God's forgiveness. Romans 3:23 says, "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." 2. Acknowledge that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who died for your sins and rose again from the dead. John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." 3. Repent of your sins and turn away from your old way of living. Acts 3:19 says, "Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord." 4. Receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior by faith. Romans 10:9 says, "If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." 5. Confess your faith in Jesus Christ publicly and join a local church where you can grow in your knowledge and love of God. Matthew 10:32 says, "Whoever acknowledges me before others, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven."

In fact, the New Testament also contains many references to Israel and the Jewish people. For example, Jesus himself was alleged to be a Jew by some and many of his followers were Jewish. The apostle Paul, who wrote many of the books in the New Testament, was also a Jew.

It is important to note that the relationship between Israel and the Bible is a matter of interpretation, and there are many different views on this topic. Some people believe that the Bible teaches that Israel has a special place in God’s plan, while others believe that the Bible does not support this view. Ultimately, the best way to understand the relationship between Israel and the Bible is to study the scriptures for yourself and come to your own conclusions.

Here are some Bible verses that refer to Israel:

  • Genesis 12:3 - “I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.”

  • Isaiah 49:7 - “This is what the Lord says—the Redeemer and Holy One of Israel—to him who was despised and abhorred by the nation, to the servant of rulers: ‘Kings will see you and stand up, princes will see and bow down, because of the Lord, who is faithful, the Holy One of Israel, who has chosen you.’”

  • Genesis 15:13 - “Then the Lord said to him, ‘Know for certain that for four hundred years your descendants will be strangers in a country not their own and that they will be enslaved and mistreated there.’”

  • Psalm 25:22 - “Redeem Israel, O God, from all their troubles!”

These verses are from the Old Testament and are relevant to Israel’s history but not to their significance today. However, it is important to note that the interpretation of these verses is a matter of debate among scholars and theologians.

Here are some Bible verses from the New Testament that support Israel:

  • Romans 11:1-2: “I ask, then, has God rejected his own people, the nation of Israel? Of course not! I myself am an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham and a member of the tribe of Benjamin. No, God has not rejected his own people, whom he chose from the very beginning.”

  • Romans 11:25-26: “I want you to understand this mystery, dear brothers and sisters, so that you will not feel proud about yourselves. Some of the people of Israel have hard hearts, but this will last only until the full number of Gentiles comes to Christ. And so all Israel will be saved. As the Scriptures say, ‘The one who rescues will come from Jerusalem, and he will turn Israel away from ungodliness.’”

  • Romans 15:27: “They were pleased to do it, and indeed they owe it to them. For if the Gentiles have shared in the Jews’ spiritual blessings, they owe it to the Jews to share with them their material blessings.”

  • Galatians 6:16: “Peace and mercy to all who follow this rule—to the Israel of God.”

The Bible contains many prophecies about the future of Israel and its role in God’s plan. One of the most significant passages is Romans 11:25-26, which declares that “all Israel will be saved” and that God will “take away their sins”. This implies that Israel will experience a national repentance and restoration when Christ returns. Moreover, Romans 11:1-2 assures us that God has not forsaken his chosen people, Israel.

Another important reference is Galatians 6:16, where Paul speaks of “the Israel of God”. Some interpreters understand this phrase to mean the church, which consists of both Jews and Gentiles who believe in Christ. However, others argue that Paul is referring to a distinct group of Jewish believers within the church, who are still part of the natural Israel.

Furthermore, the website Bible.org offers a comprehensive study of the biblical doctrine of the restoration of Israel, based on Romans 11:26 3. The article argues that the verse indicates that Israel’s current state of hardness and unbelief will end when the fullness of the Gentiles comes to pass.. Clearly that has not happened yet. Then, God will fulfill his promises to Israel and bring salvation to the whole nation AFTER CHRIST RETURNS. Until that happens Israel is a land of hedonistic, mongol dogs, baying at their own, and every other nations arses.
