Some people blame the COVID virus for all the wrongs and shortcomings in our lives as you are doing in this instance. They think that everything was perfect before the pandemic and that the virus is the only cause of their problems. However, this is not a realistic or helpful way of thinking. The COVID virus was a serious threat, but it is not responsible for everything that went wrong in our lives. We still have control over many aspects of our situation, such as our attitude, our actions, and our choices. Blaming the virus for everything can make us feel powerless, angry, and hopeless. It can also prevent us from finding solutions and coping strategies that can improve our well-being. Instead of blaming the virus, we should focus on what we can do to adapt to the new challenges and opportunities that the pandemic has brought. We should also acknowledge and appreciate the positive things that we still have in our lives, such as our health, our family, our friends, and our hobbies. By doing so, we can reduce our stress, increase our resilience, and enhance our happiness.
Some people may think that they have valid reasons for not doing what they are supposed to do, but in reality, they are just making weak excuses. For example, some students may say that they couldn't finish their homework because they had a headache, or because their internet was down, or because their dog ate it. These are weak excuses because they show a lack of responsibility and commitment. A better way to handle such situations is to admit the truth and ask for an extension or a second chance, or to work harder next time.
Blessings
